Global Account Specialist - Full Time
What will you be doing?
As a Global Account Specialist, you will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring new customers, building and maintaining strong relationships with your clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. You will serve as the face of Taimen to potential customers. A solid understanding of logistics and transportation solutions will be necessary for this role.

What does success look like?
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and market share objectives in the assigned territory.
- Establish, maintain, and strengthen relationships with new customers through regular visits, phone calls, and email communication.
- Identify potential sales opportunities by understanding customer needs, researching competitors, and staying informed about industry trends.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value proposition of Taimen’s transportation services.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Stand up and stabilize new clients to Taimen by executing initial profitable freight moves. New clients will be moved to the operations team for long-term execution.
What Qualifications Do You Need?
The ideal candidate who will be invited to join Taimen will be highly self-motivated, professional, experienced, reliable, ambitious, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced sales environment. The required qualifications for this position are:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of sales experience in the transportation industry.
- Experience managing business dealings via phone (e.g., prior jobs involving cold calls, inside sales, customer service, etc.)
In addition to the requirements above, an ideal candidate will have some or all of the following skills:
- Proficiency in industry standard supply chain platforms
- Motivation to grow individually and as one team
- Solid commitment to ethical practices and holding others to the same standard
- Above average math and technological skills
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
